We took all the feedback from the first release and have worked to make these even better. Apex wheels now include a Bearing Pocket - a full custom bearing lock that prevents the bearing from coming out except while using a bearing press.
Set of four Apex Series, Bowl Shaped Cruiser Style Fingerboard Wheels in "Cobalt Blue". Each set of Teak Tuning's Apex Series wheels is made with premium urethane.
The Cruiser wheels hit the sweet spot with a 71D durometer. They’re not too hard, and they’re not too soft. Measuring 8.7mm in diameter and 5.25mm wide, these wheels are slightly larger and thicker than standard fingerboard wheels, but are great for easy riding and doing tricks on all kinds of surfaces.
These wheels contain premium bearings with an ABEC-9 rating. These bearings are our highest quality fingerboard wheel bearings. They are extremely smooth and completely silent. These are sturdy bearings that will allow extreme movement and control. However, due to them being greased and completely shielded, they do not have the free spin our "Ultra Spin" Edition bearings do. In actual use, they are extremely responsive and have a very free roll.
Designed and made in the USA. These custom wheels are made in the USA with premium quality urethane. Many fingerboarders love the squeak sound that urethane wheels make as you powerslide across a surface or do a sharp turn.
Storage tube cap color may vary.
Perfect for riders of all skill levels. Includes a free Teak Tuning sticker.

It came in great time and there was no damage to the item.
I ordered a Red Rover 32mm complete alongside this board, and those thoughts remain the same with this board as well. I got this 34mm to see which size I like more. After a couple weeks of use I don't have a huge preference, but I think I prefer the 32mm slightly over this one.
The only additional thought I have with this board is that the provided foam tape is 35mm x 110mm. Due to this board being 34mm long, there is not much room for error when placing the tape on the board and can take some time getting it right. The board length is only 97mm however, so there is plenty of room lengthwise to get the grip tape on correctly. Personally I think it should be shorter and a bit wider imo.
The complete is nice though, the 34mm trucks look nicer than the 32mm ones, and the board shape looks better and more professional at 34mm imo. I still recommend, but maybe order some extra foam tape as well, just in case.
Two minor complaints: The o-ring bushings were on by default, even though they were advertised with bubble bushings. It did come with them and was a fairly easy install, but the 2nd complete I ordered came with the bubble bushings on with included o-ring bushings.
Secondly, the board is marked as fully assembled, and while everything is put together... the griptape is not. This is fairly expected, but for newer members of the community/hobby, this may be confusing as it is not specified anywhere.
Overall though, the board is nice but a bit on the lighter side. The trucks with bubble bushings are nice, and the prolific foam tape has a nice feel. The wheels are a bit loud and are the grippiest, but they roll well and work well enough to do what you need. I later ordered urethane abec-9 wheels from Teak, and prefer those, but they cost significantly more ofc.
Either way, it's a good board. I got a handful of them to use instead of Tech Decks. The Teak Tuning hate is unwarranted imo.
I'm pretty surprised how sturdy this it. Solidly built and loads of fun to use.
New to fingerboarding and still trying to find the best setup for me. This is a great beginner board and will get a lot of fun out of it. I couldnt get pivot cups to fit on the trucks.
